St. Maximilian Kolbe
We are a mother/daughter apostolate founded to increase devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. By the grace of God, we have consecrated ourselves totally to the Blessed Virgin Mary and strive to live out this consecration in all we are called to do. Seeking to become Her little instruments, we believe Mother Mary will accept this small gift, working through the lives of those surrendered to Her so many souls may be drawn closer to Her Beloved Son.
The Mission of Mary’s Army is to evangelize through prayer, retreats, providing resources, and walking with others on their journey as they discover the immense love that Mary has for them and Her wish for all of Her children to draw nearer to Her son, Jesus.
We rely on generous donations to continue our apostolate.
If you have a passion for helping to bring others closer to Jesus through Mary, we would love to have you as a member of Mary's Army! Do you have an idea for a Catholic retreat? We have various styles of new handmade rosaries!
According to tradition, in the year 1251 a Carmelite superior general living in Cambridge, England, St. Simon Stock, was praying for heavenly intercession for his order, as the Carmelites were facing trials and oppression at the time.
On July 16th, 1251, he received a visit from Our Lady in answer to his prayers. She handed him a Brown Scapular, saying,
Receive, my beloved son, this Scapular of thy Order; it is the special sign of my favor, which I have obtained for thee and for thy children of Mount Carmel. He who dies clothed with this habit shall be preserved from eternal fire. It is the badge of salvation, a shield in time of danger, and a pledge of special peace and protection."
We have various new medals, including the Miraculous Medal, St. Benedict Medal, and crucifixes.
We have many pamphlets available in English as well as Spanish. Pamphlets for new Catholics and cradle Catholics to answer their questions and deepen their faith.
We have various new Holy Cards of Saints and special devotions.
We have various new devotional and prayer books and booklets.
