“Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin too much. You can never love Her more than Jesus did.”

St. Maximilian Kolbe

Our Mission

We are a mother/daughter apostolate founded to increase devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. By the grace of God, we have consecrated ourselves totally to the Blessed Virgin Mary and strive to live out this consecration in all we are called to do. Seeking to become Her little instruments, we believe Mother Mary will accept this small gift, working through the lives of those surrendered to Her so many souls may be drawn closer to Her Beloved Son.

The Mission of Mary’s Army is to evangelize through prayer, retreats, providing resources, and walking with others on their journey as they discover the immense love that Mary has for them and Her wish for all of Her children to draw nearer to Her son, Jesus.

We are passionate about vocations and love helping to make resources from various religious orders available to the faithful.

We rely on generous donations to continue our apostolate.

PAST Events

On November 16, 2025, Mission of Mary's Army sponsored a vocations event to meet and greet Religious orders.  Franciscan Friar of the Immaculate, Fr. Charbel Boustany and Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, MI, Sister Mary Hanah and Sister Mary Elisha were available to answer questions and share about Religious life and their vocation stories.  Materials from many different Religious orders were also available to browse.

The 3rd Annual Altar Server Spiritual Retreat was held on November 15, 2025 at the Church of St. Benedict in Broken, Arrow, OK.  Nearly 150 individuals from across Oklahoma and Texas were in attendance.

They were inspired by the presentations of Bishop David Konderla and Gabriel Castillo.  Bishop David spoke on the Universal Call to Holiness and answered many questions from the attendees. Gabriel's first presentation focused on reverence and respect.  His second presentation captivated his audience on Our Lady's power over Satan as Gabriel shared his personal testimony of how Mary and the Miraculous Medal saved his life.  Retreatants were able to venerate relics of St. Dominic, St. Gaspar del Bufalo, St. Catherine Labouré, St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe, and St. Charbel. The retreat ended with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Litany of Trust, and an opportunity to receive God’s mercy and forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

On November 9, 2024, altar servers, clergy, and acolytes in the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma and the Archdiocese of OKC gathered together at the Church of St. Benedict in Broken Arrow, OK for the 2024 Altar Server Spiritual Retreat: Encountering Christ.

Attendees had the opportunity to encounter Jesus in Adoration and Confession.  Session topics included vocations, the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, a special service project for programs at Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma, the roles and virtues of a server, and the Eucharist and ways to encounter Christ in our daily lives.  Speakers included Fr. Bryan Brooks, Fr. Duy Nguyen, Fr. Gabriel Garcia, Fr. James Porter, Deacon Erick Bell, Deacon Dan Brennan, Seminarian Luke Bland, and the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, MI.  Photos from the event can be found in the Gallery.

Brown Scapulars

According to tradition, in the year 1251 a Carmelite superior general living in Cambridge, England, St. Simon Stock, was praying for heavenly intercession for his order, as the Carmelites were facing trials and oppression at the time.

On July 16th, 1251, he received a visit from Our Lady in answer to his prayers. She handed him a Brown Scapular, saying,

Receive, my beloved son, this Scapular of thy Order; it is the special sign of my favor, which I have obtained for thee and for thy children of Mount Carmel. He who dies clothed with this habit shall be preserved from eternal fire. It is the badge of salvation, a shield in time of danger, and a pledge of special peace and protection."
